It is crucial to carefully follow the instructions for attaching license plates with magnets. Apply the specified number of magnets carefully to the bumper and license plate. Under no circumstances should fewer magnets be used than prescribed, or a set intended for securing one license plate with magnets be used for two license plates. During driving, the license plate is subjected to much greater stresses and forces than when stationary. What is securely attached in the parking lot can easily come off during driving if the number of magnets is reduced.
The MagNFix License Plate Holder includes a total of 20 magnets for one license plate. 10 of these magnets are attached to the inside of the bumper and 10 magnets are attached to the back of the license plate, ensuring a secure hold even at high speeds.
Installation Instructions
Please be sure to follow the enclosed safety instructions! Attaching the magnets to the license plate: When attaching the magnets to the license plate, be careful not to place the magnets on the embossing (aluminum license plates) or on the rivets (3D license plates). The magnet must be firmly attached to a flat surface; otherwise, the full adhesive force cannot be achieved.
MagNFix Installation Step by Step:
Position and test the magnets on the inside and outside of the bumper. Be sure to pay attention to the mutual attraction of the magnets! Mark the position of the outer magnets on the license plate and thoroughly clean/degrease the relevant areas with the alcohol swab. Remove the protective film from the magnets and attach them to the license plate. Press the magnets firmly onto the license plate. Attach the license plate strip to the license plate, preferably starting at the top of the license plate. First, firmly attach the license plate strip at the top, then completely remove and firmly attach it downwards by smoothing it out. (An air cushion around the magnets is intended and normal.) Mark the position of the inner magnets on the bumper and thoroughly clean/degrease the relevant areas with the alcohol swab. Remove the protective film from the magnets and attach them to the bumper. Press the magnets firmly onto the bumper. Attach the film cutouts to the magnets. To do this, place the film on the magnet and then firmly smooth it out from top to bottom. Again, air bubbles around the magnets are normal. The magnets are protected from water and dirt ingress by the film.
